Madison — The Department of Revenue (DOR) will be accepting applications for the $100 per-child tax rebate starting May 15, 2018. All residents of the state of Wisconsin are eligible to receive $100 for each dependent child under the age of 18 who are living at home.
“This rebate will come right in time for the back to school season,” said Representative Joan Ballweg (R-Markesan). “I am encouraged to see Wisconsin giving back to the taxpayers and helping with the cost of supporting our families.”
In order to claim your rebate, you need a social security number to prove were are a Wisconsin resident for the 2017 tax year, a social security number for your child and their date of birth, and your bank routing number and account number for direct deposit. Visit childtaxrebate.wi.gov through July 2, 2018 to apply.
