Rep. Macco continued, “We have laid the foundation for our area’s economic expansion by opening an engineering school at UW-Green Bay, building a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Center on UWGB’s campus.  I am proud to have authored the legislation that provided the funding to the STEM Center.  In addition, Microsoft and the Green Bay Packers have created TitletownTech and two large employers recently opened technology hubs here in Green Bay.  Of course, the recent announcement of the Foxconn Innovation Center in downtown Green Bay will also be a tremendous addition to our community.”

“I am very pleased with the growth of high paying 21st Century jobs in our community.  Economic development and family-sustaining jobs continue to be my main emphasis,” Rep. Macco concluded.
