Madison — Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) released the following statement praising President Donald Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court.
“The choice of Judge Kavanaugh for the U.S. Supreme Court is exceptional. The nation’s highest court deserves to have a judge of this caliber and expertise. As a state legislator, I appreciate that as a federal judge, he has a proven track record of not legislating from the bench. He works to uphold the Constitution and interprets the law as written. With his impressive resume and reputation, Senate confirmation should be quick and with bipartisan support.”
