At a conference today in Madison, the Wisconsin Educational Technology Leaders association recognized Rep. Don Vruwink for his support of technology in education.

“Don has been an active advocate for not only technology use within Wisconsin schools, but also education in general,” said Ed Snow, a member of WETL. “This past spring, Don traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with federal government representatives on behalf of the students in the state of Wisconsin. WETL recognizes his efforts and hopes he will continue this valuable work supporting schools.”

On hand to present the award at the Monona Terrace Convention Center were Mr. Snow; Greg Krueger, WETL treasurer; Annette Smith, director of technical services for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI); and Kurt Kiefer, assistant state superintendent of the Division of Libraries and Technology at DPI.
