WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 25, 2018) –  The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) continues its multi-platform, issue ad campaign highlighting Senator Janet Bewley siding with Madison liberals on issues related to illegal immigration and her opposition to tax relief for families in the Northland.  The newest television issue ads will begin airing today in Senate District 25.

“Janet Bewley has forgotten her home district, caring more about tax benefits for illegal immigrants, while opposing a tax credit for working families and farmers in the Northland,” said Matt Walter, President of the Republican State Leadership Committee.

In 2016, prior to the defeat of Senator Julie Lassa (SD-24), the RSLC similarly aired issue-focused ads underscoring her “Missing in Action” status for Wisconsin’s working families.

The script for the RSLC’s new TV ad, “Has Madison changed Janet Bewley?,” is below and the video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHeSrH7HhsA

Has Madison changed Janet Bewley?

Has she forgotten the Northland?

Bewley is against a tax credit that saves Northland’s manufacturing and farm jobs.

If the tax credit goes, so do our jobs.

In Madison, Bewley forgot us, but supports keeping easier access to taxpayer benefits for illegal immigrants.

She even opposed common-sense efforts to make it harder for illegals to vote.

Call Janet Bewley (608-266-3510) and tell her to support jobs for the Northland, not taxpayer benefits for illegals
