Roys calls for making health care ‘universally available’ in second TV ad

Dem guv candidate Kelda Roys in her second TV ad calls for making health care “universally available.”

The 30-second ad opens with the former state rep saying the state has a “long way to go on health care.”

The spot then shows footage of a farm field and Roys spending time with her kids, as she says the state can be a leader again in expanding access to health care.

Roys then talks about her time in the Assembly where she says she worked to expand eligibility to BadgerCare to some 80,000 more Wisconsin residents.

“We need to make sure that healthcare is universally available and that everyone can buy into a great plan like BadgerCare at an affordable cost,” she says. “And the good news is we have that within our grasp. We can do that.”
