(Reedsburg, Wis.) – The Screnock for Justice Campaign announced Friday two more of Milwaukee Judge Rebecca Dallet’s Circuit Court colleagues have rescinded their endorsement of her campaign and instead endorsed their colleague Judge Michael Screnock in the April 3rd Supreme Court election.
Racine County Circuit Court Judges Robert S. Repischak and Wynne P. Laufenburg joined Florence/Forest County Circuit Court Judge Leon Stenz as the third judges in the last week to rescind their endorsements of Judge Dallet in favor of Judge Screnock.
Additionally, the Associated Press reported this week that Sawyer County Circuit Court Judge John Yackel—who endorsed Judge Screnock many months ago—was listed on the campaign website of Judge Dallet as a supporter of hers without his permission.
“It seems like for every East Coast politician Judge Dallet gains the support of, she loses two Wisconsin judicial endorsements here at home,” said Judge Screnock. “I am proud to have so much support from our great state, whether it is a bipartisan majority of Wisconsin Sheriffs or a number of my colleagues on the court—including former supporters of Judge Dallet.”
