Supreme Court candidate Michael Screnock’s first TV ad of the Supreme Court campaign says he’s passionate about the constitution, the rule of law and the tuba.

The spot shows a picture of Screnock playing the tuba in the UW-Madison marching band. The Sauk County judge then introduces himself, saying he’s proud to be backed by a majority of Wisconsin sheriffs “because they know we need a justice who respects our laws, not one marching to their own tune rewriting them.”

“If you like the sound of a justice standing for our laws, I’d be honored to earn your vote April 3,” he says before playing a few notes on a tuba to close the spot.

The spot will air through Election Day April 3.
