Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc. and Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) recently signed a contract that will provide Security’s members continued access to HSHS providers in western Wisconsin.

“It’s our goal to provide members with access to a broad network of high-quality providers. This agreement with HSHS serves to do just that,” said Marty Anderson, chief growth officer, for Security Health Plan. ”By partnering with other organizations who share our goals, we are able to work more efficiently and effectively to improve health outcomes and reduce health care costs for our members.”

“It is our mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care in the communities we serve. This ongoing relationship with Security Health Plan of Wisconsin allows members continued access to the exceptional care they’ve come to expect,” said Andy Bagnall, president and CEO of HSHS western Wisconsin Division of hospitals, which includes HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s.

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls, Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and Prevea Health centers in western Wisconsin will continue to be in-network for most Security Health Plan members. The new contractual relationship will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2019, and will remain in place until Dec. 31, 2021.
