“Hello, this is Senator Mark Miller with this week’s democratic radio address.
“As we get closer to the Holidays, I’m sure many of us look forward to sitting down with our families, enjoying a Thanksgiving meal, and taking a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. As we enjoy this time, it is sobering to remember that so many people right here at home don’t have access to the simple necessities that many of us take for granted.
“Please consider taking this opportunity to help out in your local community. Whether you donate to a local food pantry or your favorite charity, we can all play a part in helping our neighbors this holiday season.
“When we work together, we can make Wisconsin a warm and welcoming place for all of our citizens this holiday season. Senate Democrats wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.”
