MADISON, WI – After appointing Attorney Tamara Packard to serve on the Wisconsin Ethics Commission, Senate Democratic Leader Jennifer Shilling (D-La Crosse) released the following statement:
“With over 20 years of legal expertise, Tamara Packard has received numerous awards and honors for her work which has included protecting employees from gender, disability, and sexual orientation discrimination in the workplace. Tamara is a highly respected advocate for Wisconsin families and will bring a wealth of personal experience and expertise to the Ethics Commission.”
Atty. Packard’s appointment is effective June 15, 2018 for a term that expires May 1, 2019. She succeeds Jeralyn Wendelberger on the commission.
