LA CROSSE, WI – Senator Jennifer Shilling (D-La Crosse) released the following statement following the results of the special election in Senate District 10.
“I applaud Patty’s hard work and welcome her to the State Senate. She will be the voice for the community on public education, affordable health care, and supporting seniors and families. Patty’s message of building up our communities and bridging our differences clearly had an impact as we saw some of the best numbers Democrats have seen in this district in decades.
“The results from today show that Wisconsin is ready for a change in Madison. Senate Democrats are committed to doing the work to build on this momentum throughout 2018.”
