Madison, Wis. — Assistant Majority Leader Leah Vukmir, R-Brookfield, issued the following statement upon the news that Senate President Mike Ellis has passed away:
“My sympathies and prayers go out to Sen. Ellis’ family during this very sad time. In his time in the Legislature, Mike was a passionate individual who will be remembered for the strength and determination he had for his constituents.”
