Madison – Senator Bob Wirch (D-Kenosha) released the following statement in response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on partisan gerrymandering:

“Today’s Supreme Court decision just affirms that the Legislature absolutely must address partisan redistricting by adopting the Iowa model in the next session so that all Wisconsin voters have fair, equal representation, and we won’t face those long, expensive legal battles every ten years.”
