Madison, WI – Today, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Burlington) announced that he had
reappointed Rep. Mike Rohrkaste (R-Neenah) to the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance, which is primarily responsible for reviewing the state budget.
“It’s a great honor to once again be asked to serve on Joint Finance,” Representative Rohrkaste said. “I look forward to applying my private-sector experience and the knowledge I gained over the last two years as a member of Joint Finance to the challenges and opportunities of the 2019-2021 state budget.”
Representative Rohrkaste was first elected to the State Assembly in 2014. During the 2015-2016 legislative session, he chaired the Speaker’s Task Force on Alzheimer’s and Dementia, and he served on the Joint Committee on Finance for the 2017-2018 legislative session. Before his election to the Assembly, he had a successful career in human resources, ultimately serving as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Oshkosh Corporation.
