[Madison, WI]  Following today’s news that Governor Scott Walker, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, and Kimberly-Clark reached an agreement that keeps hundreds of jobs in Wisconsin, Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald issued the following statement:

“I want to thank Governor Walker, the WEDC, and Senator Roth for fighting to keep these jobs in Wisconsin. Thanks to their tireless advocacy, hundreds of jobs for hard-working Wisconsin families will remain in the Fox Valley.

“Wisconsin’s economy is thriving, thanks to the work of the WEDC. With more people working than ever before, unemployment hitting historic lows, and our state’s manufacturing sector strong, Wisconsin is headed in the right direction.”

Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) represents the 13th Senate District, which covers portions of Dodge, Jefferson, Waukesha, Washington, Dane, and Columbia counties.
