Bryan Steil: “It is an exciting day for the future of Southeast Wisconsin. I am encouraged by the economic development brought to the I-94 Corridor.

The reforms enacted in Wisconsin over the past eight years and the recent progress made in Washington have created this jobs-friendly environment allowing Wisconsin residents to prosper.

My opponent’s far left agenda would lead Southeast Wisconsin to take a step back rather than take a step forward.

Wages are increasing and unemployment is at 2.8 percent due to businesses like Foxconn coming to Wisconsin.

There is still work to be done. I am focused on preparing our workforce for the future. I have experience fighting for high quality and affordable education on the UW Board of Regents. During my time working in education and manufacturing, I learned that Washington bureaucracy often gets in the way. I will work to cut red tape and use our hardworking taxpayer dollars efficiently to prepare our workforce for the jobs of the future.”

Bryan Steil was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin. He is a member of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents and has a strong background as a business leader. For the past nine years, Bryan has worked for manufacturing companies in Rock County and has learned the importance of fiscal discipline and risks of government red tape. Bryan is running for Congress to reduce government overreach and prepare our workforce for the jobs of the future.
