NFIB Endorses Bryan Steil for Congress

KENOSHA, Wis. – First Congressional District candidate Bryan Steil announced today the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). NFIB is the largest association of small and independent businesses in the United States. Earlier this month, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce also endorsed Bryan Steil.

Bryan Steil: “I am proud to have the support of NFIB. As I meet small business owners and employees across the district, they are concerned with rising healthcare costs and making sure we continue to create jobs, raise wages, and expand opportunities in Southeast Wisconsin. In Congress, I will use my experience in manufacturing and education to keep taxes low for workers and small businesses and prepare our workforce for the jobs of the future.”

Bill Smith, NFIB Wisconsin State Director: “Bryan Steil has a deep understanding of the challenges that Wisconsin small businesses face. We are confident he will be a strong advocate for small businesses in the U.S. House and will support efforts to roll back onerous regulations. On behalf of small businesses in Wisconsin’s First Congressional District, we are proud to endorse Bryan Steil for election to the United States House of Representatives.”

Bryan Steil won the Republican nomination for the First Congressional District on August 14 with over 51 percent of the vote in a five-way contest. Steil is running for Congress to fight for American workers and prepare our workforce for the jobs of the future. Steil is a member of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents and has a strong background as a business leader. For the past nine years, Steil has worked for manufacturing companies in Rock County and has learned the importance of fiscal discipline and risks of government red tape. Steil was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin, where he currently lives.
