Former State Rep. and current Milwaukee Co. Supervisor Wasserman supports Liz
FOX POINT – Liz Sumner, candidate for Wisconsin’s 23rd Assembly District, today issued the following statement:
“I remember when then-representative Sheldon Wasserman ran against Alberta Darling and the enthusiasm that came with his candidacy. It’s hard to imagine how much better off Wisconsin would have been had he been victorious. Sup. Wasserman provided real leadership and tenacity that our community has lacked over the past few legislative cycles. It is a great honor to have his support in this election and I look forward to working with him,” noted Liz in regards to the endorsement.
“When I met Liz, I knew she was the real deal. She has the background and values that voters in this district appreciate,” noted Sup. Wasserman. “I know that Liz will be part of a wave of leaders in Madison who will fight for better transportation options, improved infrastructure and increased access to affordable health care. I encourage voters in the 23rd district to vote for Liz Sumner on August 14th.”
Liz Sumner is a resident of Fox Point, a small business owner, a current member of the Fox Point Village Board, mother of two young children, and is running to represent the 23rd Assembly District in the Democratic primary election on August 14, 2018 and in the general election on November 6, 2018.
