Taureau Group co-sponsors M&A Forum

WISCONSIN – Taureau Group is co-sponsoring a Mergers & Acquisitions Forum, “Fact or Fiction, Taking the Mystery out of M&A.” The fourth annual forum will be held Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at the Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center, 1000 Cameron Way, Neenah. Registration begins at 2 p.m. A reception will follow.

Participants will learn key factors which influence value and steps they can take to streamline a business transition. The forum will begin with an opening address by keynote speaker Vince Shiely, partner with Lubar & Company. Ann Hanna, managing director & owner of Taureau Group, LLC, will moderate a panel discussion of professionals who will help bring clarity to the M&A process. Panelists include Anthony Cavalco, president & CEO, TruVenture Composites, LLC; Michael Daniels, president & CEO, Nicolet National Bank; Steve Elias, president, BAYCOM, Inc.; and Corey Vanderpoel, managing director & owner, Taureau Group, LLC.

Participants will also choose to attend one of the four breakout sessions offered. Topics include: focusing on increasing value before and during the sale, limiting your post-closing liability: insurance before and after the deal, integrating cultures upon a transaction, and expanding through acquisition.

This forum is geared toward business owners and executive management and is presented by Insight Publications LLC in partnership with Taureau Group, Nicolet National Bank, M3 Insurance, and Godfrey & Kahn, SC. There is no cost to attend.
