Eau Claire, Wis. – The 3rd District Republican Party of Wisconsin is proud to announce La Crosse County’s Bill Feehan as its new vice chairman.
Feehan, chairman of the La Crosse County Republican Party since 2011, was confirmed as the next 3rd District vice chairman after a unanimous vote by district leaders and approval by the Republican Party of Wisconsin on Saturday. Feehan will replace Julian Bradley, who has accepted a new position at his longtime employer that requires him to move out of Wisconsin.
“It has been one of my greatest honors to lead with Julian, and we cannot thank him enough for the decade of service he has given to the people of Wisconsin,” said Brian Westrate, 3rd District GOP Chairman. “His leadership has crafted a District GOP that is stronger and more capable of meeting the challenges of the coming years head-on. While the 3rd is losing an incredible leader in Mr. Bradley, it is gaining another incredible leader with Bill Feehan.
“I look forward with great enthusiasm to the growth and development that I know we will experience with the addition of Bill’s unique skills and abilities. I am looking forward to working alongside Bill as we face the challenges of each new political season. Julian is leaving the Vice Chairmanship of the 3rd District GOP in incredibly capable hands,” Westrate said.
“Wisconsin has lost an inspirational leader – no one can replace Julian Bradley. But I am looking forward to stepping into this new role, continuing the work to build our county parties and help our candidates in these very important November elections. If you believe the reforms of the last seven years are working, it’s time to get to work and protect them,” said incoming 3rd District Vice Chairman Bill Feehan.
Bradley will continue to serve until the Republican Party of Wisconsin state convention, when he will hand over his gavel to Feehan, with whom he has served in the La Crosse County GOP for the past seven years.
