Osseo, WI – The Wisconsin Elections Commission certified the required nomination signatures for Steve Toft to be included on the ballot for the 3rd Congressional District. Toft released the following statement:

“I am honored by the dozens of volunteers who worked to secure my name on the ballot,” said Toft. “As an outsider who is looking to unseat the 22-year, career politician Ron Kind, it is more important than ever to have a powerful base of grassroots support. Thank you to all the volunteers and voters who worked to get me on the ballot.”

Toft grew up on a farm in West Central Wisconsin, graduated from UW-Eau Claire and returned to Osseo after retirement. He lives there with his wife of 28 years Carla, together they have two grown children. His wife Carla also retired with rank of Colonel.
