OSSEO, WI – The National Rifle Association honored Steve Toft’s commitment to protecting the 2nd Amendment with its top rating for a first-time candidate AQ.
“As an avid hunter and outdoorsman, it was a great honor to receive the highest grade possible from the NRA,” said Toft. “I am committed to protecting the Second Amendment and ensuring it is defending Wisconsin families for generations to come.”
Career Politician Ron Kind only received a C rating, a large disconnect from pro-2nd Amendment nature of the 3rd district.
“Once again, Ron Kind is drifting away from his constituents and their desire to protect the Constitution,” continued Toft. “We simply cannot count on Ron Kind to represent the 3rd anymore. We need a representative in Washington who will stand up for the right of every resident of 3rd to defend themselves and their families.”
Toft grew up on a farm in West Central Wisconsin, graduated from UW-Eau Claire and returned to Osseo after retirement. While serving 32 years in the Army, Toft served as a health care administrator. He lives there with his wife of 28 years Carla, together they have two grown children. His wife Carla also retired with rank of Colonel.
