Madison… Scholarship applications are currently being accepted for the 14th Annual Joan Ballweg Leadership Scholarship. This year’s deadline is April 6, 2018.
Eligibility is open to all graduating seniors continuing their education in a 2-year technical college program or a 4-year baccalaureate degree program. Students must be graduating with at least a 3.0 average on a 4.0 point scale and must reside in the district. If you are unsure whether or not you reside in the 41st Assembly District, you can visit the legislature’s website at www.legis.wisconsin.gov. Then type in your address under “Find My Legislators” to determine your home district.
“It’s my privilege to recognize hard working students of the 41st Assembly District. To date, I’ve awarded 65 students with scholarships,” Ballweg said. “It is my hope that these students will continue to lead in college, with their future employers, and in their home communities.”
Deadline for applications is April 6, 2018.
