WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said this after meeting with Russian government officials in Moscow as part of a Congressional delegation:

“I was pleased to participate in productive meetings with Russian officials that were the first steps in acknowledging areas of dispute, but also demonstrated a sincere desire on both sides to improve the relationship between our two countries and to continue the dialogue. As Chairman of the Europe Subcommittee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I also expressed my willingness to help facilitate future discussions.”
