FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Madison, Wis.— Aug. 27, 2018 — UW Credit Union is mobilizing support for South Central Wisconsin flood relief efforts after the area experienced unprecedented flooding in the past week. Torrential rains damaged homes, businesses and infrastructure across South Central Wisconsin. In response, UW Credit Union will donate $25,000 to organizations supporting flood relief in addition to accepting donations online and in branch locations.

UW Credit Union is currently accepting donations for flood relief. Members may donate funds directly from their account through online banking. Donations can be made at any UW Credit Union branch location.

“We’re ready to assist recovery efforts,” says UW Credit Union President and CEO Paul Kundert. “We invite members and the community to join us in helping those impacted by flooding.”

All proceeds will go to The Salvation Army and The American Red Cross, with 100% of donations going to flood relief efforts. Learn how you can help at uwcu.org/flood-relief.
