Two major conservation groups endorsed State Rep. Don Vruwink (D-Milton) for re-election to the state legislature.

“I’m pleased to be endorsed by the Sierra Club and the Clean Wisconsin Action Fund, and I’m proud of my record of supporting sound conservation policies,” Vruwink said. “I will continue to support polices that protect our precious natural resources. We need to do this for our state’s economic vibrancy, for the public health, for our own enjoyment, and for the well-being of generations to come.”

Founded in 1892 by preservationist John Muir, the Sierra Club is a leader in the national conservation efforts. The Clean Wisconsin Action Fund is dedicated to electing leaders who understand the importance of environmental health for economic health.

Vruwink represents parts of Rock, Walworth, Jefferson, and Dane counties. These include the communities of Whitewater, Milton, Edgerton, Footville, part of the Village of Oregon, the Town of Janesville, and surrounding townships.
