After Obama FBI Stooge Andrew McCabe’s Firing, Leah Proposes Prohibiting Hiring Government Employees To Pad Taxpayer-Funded Benefits
Brookfield, Wis. — U.S. Senate candidate and state Sen. Leah Vukmir, R–Brookfield, Monday proposed making it illegal to hire a federal government employee for the sole purpose of padding a taxpayer-funded pension.
On Saturday, Rep. Mark Pocan, D–Wisconsin, offered known leaker and Obama FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe a job in his congressional office so he can reach the threshold of service needed to collect full early retirement benefits after being fired.
“The true injustice in this story is that Mark Pocan thinks it’s appropriate to abuse the system so his swamp buddy can retire at 50 with full benefits. Only in Washington does that make any sense.” Leah said. “Taxpayers shouldn’t be on the hook to inflate the pensions of deep state hacks who have proven they can’t be trusted to work for the government.”
Under Leah’s proposal, anyone found exploiting the federal public benefits system in this manner would pay a civil penalty equal to the cost to taxpayers of the pension boost. |
