“In her own words, Senator Baldwin worked side-by-side with Keith Ellison, and now refuses to condemn Keith Ellison’s woman-beating behavior or return his campaign donation,” said Leah Vukmir campaign manager Jess Ward. “Two-faced Tammy will prejudge uncorroborated reports against Judge Kavanaugh, but she’ll stand proudly next to an accused woman-beating liberal, regardless if medical records indicate severe domestic violence.”

BACKGROUND …

In 2012, Keith Ellison’s leadership PAC, Everybody Counts Everybody Matters, donated $1,000 To Tammy Baldwin. (FEC.gov, 9/30/12)

Two-faced Tammy is ignoring allegations against her friend and liberal colleague Keith Ellison. “Sexual assault allegations around Donald Trump Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh have roiled Washington, another, Democratic case has received markedly less attention. On Monday, an attorney hired by Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party announced that the allegations against Rep. Keith Ellison, who’s currently running for attorney general of Minnesota, could not be substantiated because Karen Monahan, Ellison’s former girlfriend who claims he subjected her to emotional and physical abuse, would not provide the video she claimed had captured one such incident. … The Ellison case has bubbled away on the back burner of the national conversation since mid-August, when Monahan first came forward. And it complicates things like the Kavanaugh vote for Democrats, who are seen by many on the right as all too willing to believe allegations against Republicans, but hesitant to condemn their own.” (Vanity Fair, 10/02/18)

Woman accusing Tammy Baldwin’s friend and ally Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison of abuse. “Rep. Keith Ellison — deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee and a candidate for Minnesota attorney general — has denied allegations that he abused his ex-girlfriend, Karen Monahan. On Thursday, Monahan, 44, spoke on camera for the first time about an incident she said happened nearly two years ago. … Monahan said that in September of 2016, she and her then boyfriend, Ellison, got into a heated argument that scared her. She said it started when he came into a room where she was laying on a bed, listening to a podcast. He asked her to take out the trash and when he asked if she heard him, she shook her head. ‘He looked at me, goes ‘Hey you f***ing hear me … and then he looked at me, he goes ‘Bitch, get the f*** out of my house,’ and he started to try to drag me off the bed,’ Monahan said. ‘That’s when I put my camera on to video him.’” (CBS News, 08/16/18)

U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison’s ex-girlfriend posts medical record alleging abuse. “U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison’s former girlfriend Karen Monahan has posted a medical document on social media that shows she told a doctor in 2017 that she had been in an abusive relationship with Ellison.  Monahan, who said Ellison domestically abused her in 2016, shared the patient progress notes from Nov. 2017 on Twitter several times this week.” (The Star Tribune, 09/19/18)
