Brookfield, Wis. – While Tammy Baldwin participates in the liberal witch hunt against Brett Kavanaugh, she has been silent about Wisconsin Democrat Randy Bryce’s history that includes refusing to pay child support, in addition to a lengthy arrest history. Bryce is running as the liberal option to replace Speaker Paul Ryan.

“Disappointingly, Tammy Baldwin is quiet about fellow Wisconsin Democrat Randy Bryce who is a deadbeat, drunk driving dad, who fails to pay child support in a timely manner, but she finds the time to speak up against Brett Kavanaugh on uncorroborated reports aimed at smearing his character,” said Leah Vukmir campaign manager Jess Ward. “Rather than participating in the witch hunt against Kavanaugh, Baldwin should condemn Bryce’s true criminal history and miserable record as a father.”
BACKGROUND …

Candidate Randy Bryce paid off delinquent child support after entering race against Paul Ryan.  “Well, here’s the rest of Bryce’s story.  The 52-year-old military veteran, who has featured his 11-year-old son in that online ad and in fundraising letters, was delinquent on paying his child support for nearly two years.  The state placed a lien on Bryce’s meager property holdings in September 2015 because he had fallen behind on his child support payments. Bryce paid off the $1,257 debt on Aug. 31, two months after launching his congressional bid.”  (The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, 11/07/17)

Democrat running to replace Paul Ryan in Wisconsin has history of arrests, including driving under the influence.  “A Democrat from Wisconsin running to replace House Speaker Paul Ryan in Congress was arrested and pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated in 1998, in addition to eight other arrests, according to documents obtained by CNN.  Two of Randy Bryce’s arrests were more recent — in 2011 and 2018 — while protesting the policies of Ryan and Wisconsin’s GOP Sen. Ron Johnson, but the majority of Bryce’s arrests stem from a single incident of driving under the influence, including three times for driving with a suspended license.”  (CNN, 07/06/18)
