Brookfield, Wis. — In her new ad buy exploiting the tragic bankruptcy of the Town of Brokaw, Sen. Tammy Baldwin says “I don’t work for Wall Street, I work for Wisconsin.” But when two-thirds of her campaign donations come from out-of-state, that statement doesn’t ring true.

“Tammy Baldwin has to buy TV ads pretending she works for Wisconsin because most voters think she’s owned by far-left coastal elites who see her as a reliable vote for their agenda,” said Leah for Senate campaign manager Jess Ward. “When Tammy and President Obama had control of our country, the nation faced strangling regulations, massive taxes and a lagging economy. She and her liberal out-of-state donors want to double down on that failure.”

“Thankfully under the leadership of Leah and Gov. Walker, Wisconsin is thriving. Leah has delivered $8 billion in tax cuts, and our unemployment rate has reached an all-time low of 2.9 percent. Voters in Marathon County know who made that happen and truly has their best interests at heart, and they will support Leah in the fall.”

Nearly two-thirds of Tammy Baldwin’s campaign donations have come from San Francisco, Manhattan and Boston liberals — not Wisconsinites. Ninety-two percent of Leah’s contributors have come from inside the state of Wisconsin.

Leah Vukmir is a nurse, military mom and conservative with a proven record who has stood with Gov. Walker in cutting taxes and implementing bold reforms. She is running for the U.S. Senate to bring the Wisconsin Way to Washington. She currently serves as a state senator from Brookfield.
