‘Standing on principle takes guts…I know what it takes.’

Brookfield, Wis. — Leah Vukmir’s U.S. Senate campaign Monday launched its first television ad, highlighting Leah standing strong for her conservative principles in the face of death threats for her and her family. The ad buy makes her campaign the first to be on television in the GOP primary race.

“The stakes in Washington couldn’t be higher, and now more than ever we need to send President Trump a true conservative reinforcement to help get the job done,” Leah said. “I’ve seen it and I’ve done it here in Wisconsin, and I am going to do the same in Washington.”

The spot will appear on television across the state of Wisconsin. It begins with an answering machine beeping, followed by multiple threats: “I know where you live and I’m gonna come for you.” “You’re gonna die, and I’m gonna be the one who does it.”

“Ever have someone threaten your life for what you believe in? I have,” Leah says. “When Scott Walker and I beat the union bosses, cut billions in taxes and defunded Planned Parenthood, the left couldn’t take it. With President Trump, we can do the same in Washington.”

“Standing on principle takes guts. I know what it takes,” she closes, directly into the camera.
