Madison, Wis. — On Valentine’s Day, U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir sent a gift of custom candy hearts to her Democrat opponent, Sen. Tammy Baldwin. Written on the custom hearts were items liberal politicians such as Baldwin adore — taxes, government shutdowns and the swamp.

The card read: “Tammy, These break my heart, but I know you love them! Happy Valentine’s Day! – Leah.”

The hearts were delivered to Baldwin’s Madison office on Wednesday by some UW–Madison College Republicans who are part of the Students Choose Leah coalition.
Leah Vukmir is a nurse, military mom and conservative with a proven record of reform who is running to bring the Wisconsin Way to Washington. She currently serves as a state senator from Brookfield.
