Brookfield, Wis. — Wisconsin Club for Growth Director Eric O’Keefe announced Wednesday on the Vicki McKenna Show that he is endorsing U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir in the race against Tammy Baldwin calling her “gutsy.”

“Leah Vukmir experienced the worst of the John Doe when they read her personal emails,” O’Keefe said. “Leah has been through the fire here in Wisconsin, which is much like the fire on Capitol Hill. What she saw is that if you stand up and lead and defy all the screaming by the bureaucrats and the media, you can win. The best way we can apply the lessons we’ve learned in Wisconsin is nominating Leah and sending her to the U.S. Senate. Leah Vukmir is the best qualified person in the nation running for U.S. Senator.”

Eric O’Keefe is the Director of the Wisconsin Club for Growth. He was a target in the John Doe proceeding, and had his personal emails seized by prosecutors. O’Keefe and the Club sued the Government Accountability Board and discovery in that case was a key reason the Wisconsin Legislature, led by Leah Vukmir, eliminated the agency.

“No one understands the overreach of government better than Eric,” Leah said. “I’m honored that he puts his trust in me to be Wisconsin’s next senator and ensure our Constitutional rights are upheld.”

Leah Vukmir is a nurse, military mom and conservative with a proven record who has stood with Gov. Walker in cutting taxes and implementing bold reforms. She is running for the U.S. Senate to bring the Wisconsin Way to Washington. She currently serves as a state senator from Brookfield.
