State Sen. Leah Vukmir raised $600,000 during the first three months of 2018, trailing the more than $1 million GOP rival Kevin Nicholson pulled in for the period.

Vukmir, R-Brookfield, will report $650,000 cash on hand, her campaign said. The campaign did not release how much she spent between Jan. 1 and March 31. But she ended December with $481,059, meaning she spent about 70 percent of what she raised.

Nicholson, a business consultant and former Marine, finished the period with more than $800,000 in the bank.

Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison, raised $3.7 million for the period and finished with $7.8 million cash on hand.
