GOP U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir released her second TV ad today, saying in the spot she worked with Scott Walker to take on “the big labor bosses” and will now “stand with President Trump” in the Senate.
As Vukmir says in the opening shot that she worked with Walker, three men in bandannas surround her as she’s unloading groceries from the trunk of a car in a driveway. The text on the screen reads “big labor bosses” with arrows pointing to each of the men.
She tosses a bag into the arms of one of the men as she says, “We made these guys work for the taxpayers, not the other way around.”
“Now I’m running for U.S. Senate to stand with President Trump,” Vukmir says. “We’ll cut wasteful spending, build the wall and finally drain the swamp.”
As she delivers the line, one of the men is shown cutting meat with a cleaver, another is building a cinder block wall in the yard and the third plunges a toilet.
“It’s about time we made Washington do an honest day’s work,” Vukmir says to finish the spot.
The campaign said the ad will run on broadcast and cable.
