EAU CLAIRE – Rep. Dana Wachs today endorsed Josh Kaul for Wisconsin Attorney General. Rep. Wachs said Kaul will help “make Wisconsin safer for every family”:
“We’ve got a real chance at taking back the attorney general’s office this November because folks know that Josh Kaul is on our side. Josh has the experience we need to help fix our broken criminal justice system. He will end the backlog of rape kits in Wisconsin, take meaningful action to deal with the ever-growing opioid and methamphetamine epidemics, and he will hold special interests like Foxconn accountable when they pollute our lakes, air, and communities.
“It is time we have an attorney general who isn’t afraid to stand up for regular folks. I’m proud to join the statewide coalition of supporters already endorsing Josh for attorney general. I know he will make Wisconsin safer for every family,” said Rep. Wachs.
“Dana and I both believe deeply in fighting for justice for all Wisconsinites, not just the most powerful. I’m grateful for his support in the AG’s race,” said Kaul.
Josh Kaul served as a federal prosecutor in Baltimore, one of America’s most violent cities. There, Kaul prosecuted murderers, gang members, and drug traffickers, taking dangerous criminals off the street and making communities more secure. He grew up in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac in a family of law enforcement professionals and teachers. He is running for Attorney General in 2018.
