Strong fundraising numbers signal enthusiastic support for Dana Wachs across Wisconsin
EAU CLAIRE — Dana Wachs announced this morning that his campaign raised more than $514,000 in 2017. Strong fundraising numbers from the Wachs for Wisconsin campaign were supported by donations from Wisconsinites all across the state.

“I’m humbled by the support from Wisconsin workers and families. I am on the road almost every day meeting more voters, talking to people about the issues that matter most to them, and working to earn their support in the primary and in the general election. I know that we can defeat Walker this November and every donation brings us one step closer to that,” said Wachs.

“We know Walker has the backing of wealthy special interests that will funnel money into his campaign. Dana has built a strong campaign team prepared to take on Walker and the Republicans. His fundraising performance is a clear indication that we are in this race for the long haul,” said Brita Olsen, deputy campaign manager.

Additional finance report details include:

  • 79 percent (742) donors who gave $100 or less
  • $514,454.68 raised from August 7 to December 31, 2017
  • $163,205.51 cash on hand
  • 1,393 donations between August  7 and December 31
  • 931 donors between August  7 and December 31
