Walker led the Wisconsin comeback and cut taxes for Wisconsin families
[Madison, Wis.] – Today, the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association announced their endorsement of Scott Walker in his reelection campaign. Thanks to Scott Walker’s reforms, unemployment reached a record low, property taxes are lower now than in 2010, and Wisconsin eliminated the state portion of the property tax. Now, Scott Walker has a plan to continue reducing the tax burden on Wisconsin families to keep Wisconsin working for generations to come.

Over his eight years as Governor, the Wisconsin economy has improved significantly. Real estate sales have been very strong, unemployment has been at or below 3 percent for eight straight months, the overall tax burden is the lowest in decades, and landing Foxconn was a big victory and could reap huge economic rewards for Wisconsin for many years to come.”

The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association represents and provides services to more than 15,600 members statewide with the goal to help REALTORS® have successful careers in their local communities. The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association strongly supported reducing the tax burden on Wisconsin families by lowering property taxes and eliminating the state property tax. In addition, they supported Gov. Walker’s record actual-dollar investment in schools to make sure every family has a great school to send their kids to.
