(Waukesha, WI) – Gina Colletti, of Waukesha, was announced today as the unanimous selection of the Waukesha County Circuit Court Judges to be the next Clerk of Court.

“I am confident that Gina’s background and experience – particularly her work within the electronic filing system of the federal court – will be a tremendous asset to our Clerk of Court office,” said Chief Judge Jennifer Dorow.

Ms. Colletti will fill the remainder of Kathy Madden’s term which expires January 6, 2019. Madden resigned as Clerk of Courts to pursue other opportunities outside the State of Wisconsin. Ms. Colletti brings a strong background of court processing and case management. She served most recently as a Case Administrator, Courtroom Deputy, and Judicial Assistant in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Prior to that, she served as a Legal Assistant to Attorney Seth Dizard at O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong and Laing, S.C. She was an integral part of Atty. Dizard’s state court receivership program. She also served for five years as a Trustee Assistant to a Chapter 7 Trustee in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin Ms. Colletti has a background in management and training from several years in retail as well. Ms. Colletti has a Bachelor of Science from Marquette University and a Paralegal Certificate from Milwaukee Area Technical College.

“I am excited about this opportunity,” said Colletti. “Waukesha County has a strong tradition of outstanding court services delivered within a framework of good stewardship of taxpayer resources. I expect to continue that fine tradition,” she stated.

Ms. Colletti starts her position on March 5, 2018.
