Register for Governor’s Freight Industry Summit
Registration is now open for the Sixth Governor’s Freight Industry Summit. This year’s summit, Wisconsin Freight: Recognizing the Local Connection, will take place at the Sheraton Madison Hotel, on Tuesday, October 9, from Noon to 3:30 p.m.
Three different panels, comprised of representatives from the private and public sectors, will discuss best practices in strengthening our local system for freight movement and protecting our infrastructure investment.
The Governor’s Freight Industry Summit assembles representatives from public and private sectors who share a common interest in the state’s economically vital freight industry. This year’s agenda focuses on topics of interest for freight shippers and carriers, city engineers, county highway commissioners, city managers, local government officials, local economic development personnel, and town administrators.Registration is $35 through September 30; $45 through October 6 and $55 on the day of the conference.
