On the 25th Anniversary for the Family and Medical Leave Act Wisconsin, Workers and Advocates Speak Out Against Attacks on Local Labor Law Protections and the Wisconsin Family Medical Leave Act
What: Wisconsin workers, 9to5 Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health (WAWH), other advocates for working families, and elected officials will be participating in a press conference to speak out against SB 634/AB 748 and SB 490/AB 77.
SB 634/AB 748 would prohibit local governments from passing or enforcing many important types of labor and employment law protections.
SB 490/AB 772 would repeal portions of the Wisconsin Family and Medical Leave Act.
When: Monday, February 5 at 10:30 a.m., which is also the 25th anniversary of the federal Family and Medical Leave Act.
