Winless Walker Strikes Out
Today, a third judge told Governor Scott Walker that he has to hold elections to fill vacant state legislative seats in Wisconsin. He had previously been refusing to hold elections out of a fear that Democrats would win.
“Scott Walker has been doing everything he can to avoid Wisconsin voters, even breaking the law,” said DGA Press Secretary Melissa Miller. “He’s right to be scared of Wisconsin voters, though, because they’ve had enough of Governor Walker’s political games that put partisan interests ahead of middle class families.”
Walker knows he’s in hot water with Wisconsin voters. He called a Democratic victory in a different State Senate special election “a wake-up call,” and even recently emailed his supporters “We could lose.”
