Madison, WI – Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) Executive Director Brian Doudna issued the following statement on Governor-elect Tony Evers’ appointment of Craig Thompson as the secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
“Craig Thompson is a tremendous choice to serve as the Department of Transportation secretary. He did a great job leading the Wisconsin Transportation Development Association for the past decade and has a firm grasp of the state’s transportation needs and challenges. He understands the direct connection between a modern transportation system and economic growth and possesses the necessary state government experience to deliver results for the citizens and businesses of Wisconsin.”
