Madison, Wis. – Starting Oct. 15, all five candidates running for Wisconsin Lt. Governor will appear on “The Morning Show” with John Munson. Each weekday at 7 a.m. through Oct. 19, candidates will discuss issues that matter to people across the state. According to Kealey Bultena, Executive Producer of “The Morning Show,” WPR is giving listeners an opportunity they don’t get anywhere else. “The five candidates offer a range of perspectives, and they have different backgrounds and experiences,” she says. “Each candidate joins us at the same time during the week, so people in the audience can listen and decide who deserves their vote. It’s really a public service unique to public radio. We have an incredible opportunity to hear from people who want to help lead Wisconsin.”

Special election coverage is part of WPR’s ongoing commitment to serving Wisconsin this election year. Leading up to the Nov. 6 general election, WPR has invited ballot-qualified candidates for state and federal offices to appear on The Ideas Network. Following is the confirmed schedule for the lt. governor candidates:

Oct. 15: Tiffany Anderson – Wisconsin Green Party

Oct. 16: Patrick Baird – Libertarian Party

Oct. 17: Mandela Barnes – Democrat

Oct. 18: Rebecca Kleefisch– Republican (Incumbent)
