Wisconsin ranks in bottom half of states while neighboring Minnesota soars ahead

A new study reported today by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel shows that Wisconsin ranks 36th in mobile-phone internet speed, while neighboring Minnesota ranks 1st.
DPW Reaction:
“Maybe Scott Walker should have focused on fixing Wisconsin’s crumbling infrastructure instead of criss-crossing the county on his presidential ambition tour. For Walker’s entire time in office, Wisconsin has lagged the country in job creation, and the state also ranked dead last in start-up businesses for three years in a row. Instead of giving away $4.5 billion in a shady deal with a foreign corporation, Walker should have invested in the critical infrastructure that Wisconsin’s businesses need to succeed, including roads, workforce training, and high-speed internet.” — TJ Helmstetter, DPW spokesperson for 2018 gubernatorial election
