WisDems: On second Wisconsin U.S. Senate General Election debate
MADISON — Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Martha Laning issued the following statement on tonight’s Wisconsin U.S. Senate debate:
“Trailing in the polls, Leah Vukmir tonight resorted to insults and shameless, baseless lying, as she sought to distract from her record of selling out Wisconsin working families, kids, and retirees.
“In stark contrast to Leah Vukmir, Tammy Baldwin is the only candidate running who can be trusted to put Wisconsin first, take on corporate special interests and insurance companies, and protect Wisconsinites with pre-existing conditions.”
