MADISON — The following is a statement from Democratic Party of Wisconsin chair Martha Laning on the U.S Supreme Court’s decision on Janus v. AFSCME:
“While we are of course disappointed by the court’s decision, Wisconsin Democrats will always stand with the working people of Wisconsin and defend their right to organize for living wages and fair working conditions. No court case changes that fact. It is more important than ever that we elect leaders who support working families and working people in November.
