GOP plans would also strip health care away from 30 million Americans
MADISON — Leah Vukmir just reiterated her hardline commitment to repealing the Affordable Care Act — an extreme policy move that would spike health care costs and strip away millions of Americans’ health care access.

And that’s not all: Vukmir and Nicholson also oppose bipartisan efforts to stabilize health care markets and correct President Donald Trump’s health care sabotage that has premiums set to spike by 36 percent here in Wisconsin.
Instead of supporting health care market stabilization, Vukmir and Nicholsonhave each supported increased Republican-led health care market sabotage — such as the GOP tax law’s individual mandate repeal, which has Wisconsin consumer costs set to spike by at least 20%.
On top of all of that, Vukmir and Nicholson similarly support Republican plansto cut Wisconsinites’ hard-earned Medicare and Social Security benefits and target Medicaid, which would threaten seniors’ nursing home coverage.
