Wisconsin Hispanics are winning with Republican reforms
[Madison, WI] — In observance of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Republican Party of Wisconsin honors the achievements of Americans of Hispanic heritage throughout Wisconsin. Hispanics are an integral part of our American family. The Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Ivan Gamboa, Chair of the WISGOP Hispanic Heritage Council
“Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of Hispanics and recognize the influence they have had on our state and country. Hispanic-Americans have served in leadership roles in our communities, defended our country through military service, and have had a historic role in shaping the very fabric of our nation. We celebrate those accomplishments and look forward to more for generations to come.”
Hispanics in Wisconsin Winning with Republican Reforms:
  • Governor Scott Walker is making historic actual-dollar investments into K-12 education, has expanded school choice, and is making sure that all children in our state have access to top-notch educational opportunities, regardless of zip code.
  • According to the Bureau of Labor, Wisconsin’s Hispanic unemployment rate is one of the lowest in the nation at 3.3%.
  • Under President Trump, Hispanic unemployment rates have hit their lowest level on record.
